TOK TOK POWDER LAB by Lee’s Kitchen began with a simple wish: to share the comfort and memories found in a warm bowl of tteokbokki.
Growing up, my mother often made rice cakes by hand for her youngest daughter who loved tteokbokki. Even when money was tight, she sometimes spent her bus fare to bring home a small serving just for me. Life wasn’t easy, but once a month she cooked a big pot of tteokbokki to share with all the neighborhood kids.
For me, tteokbokki became a food that carried love, warmth, and the joy of sharing. As time passed, it became something I made for my own children, family, and friends — a way to continue my mother’s kindness. I began to see the same generous spirit growing in my sons, and it reminded me of the comfort I felt as a child.
Inspired by those memories, I wanted to create a simple way for anyone to enjoy delicious tteokbokki at home. Together with my sons, we spent months developing and refining a powder blend that captures the flavors we grew up with and the warmth we remember.
Today, TOK TOK POWDER LAB is more than a seasoning brand. It is a family story built on love, tradition, and the happiness that comes from sharing food.
